Analysis on writing style of Bastani Parizi in his footnotes

Abstract

Persian prose in its history of evolution has undergone many changes such that in every era have its own smacks. It can be said that this great transformation is the result of relationship with the writings of foreigners, impulses of modernity and newspaper prose. One of the writing manners arose in this course is "footnotes". The manner provided authors possibility of explaining, commenting, lateral notes and references on the following page. Mohammad Ebrahim Bastani Parizi is the authors of the contemporary style that has benefited from this technique. The main research question is: What are the Parizi footnotes" components and characteristics and do they have any role in making Parizi" writing style acceptable? Footnotes within fifteen species diversity and also the volume of four pages have a close relationship with the text content and so giving a coherent structure to the book. Results of the study shows that this Footnotes are personal style of Parizi and being considered one of the most important factors for accepting his books to its readers.
